About us

Real Wood Studios is home to talented designer-makers working with locally-sourced hardwoods to produce sustainable, bespoke furniture and interiors.

Our studios showcase our tree-to-table approach with a sawmill, timber yard, kilns, wood shop, makers studios, and showroom all on site.

Customers can collaborate with makers on selecting timber and the design of a commission, or buy pieces directly from the makers in our on-site showroom.

We are set up as a Community Interest Company as it reflects our shared creativity, respect for our environment, and links with the people who live and work here. By collaborating closely with local foresters and landowners, we can source high-quality hardwood logs from sustainably managed woodlands. This timber is processed through our sawmill and as well as using it in our own furniture and interiors, it can be used by architects, builders, furniture makers, artists, and hobbyists.
