The Edinburgh Console Table (SOLD)

Description

This table was designed and made specially for an exhibition at the Royal Botanic Gardens, in Edinburgh and is made using Elm and burr Elm from trees grown on the Edinburgh Meadows.

Inspired by the wonderful array of plants and wanting to do justice to the burr Elm, I quickly fixed on the idea of a table where the legs seemingly grow up from the ground and cradle the burr Elm top like a fruit or flower.
